Rooted in Tradition
Willows Home Accents soothes the soul with sumptuous style
Mary Baude and Martha Long live and decorate by a mission: “Nurturing your home will nurture the soul.” Now the pair has decided to share their philosophy with others by opening Willows Home Accents, a comfortable 3,000-square-foot space, complete with a cozy fireplace, in Medina. Baude, a former information systems specialist with Ford Motor Company in Detroit who segued into retail and later interior decorating, and Long, a CPA with seven years of experience in finance, have all their business bases covered. Willows showcases both traditional and transitional finds by Wesley Hall, Statesville Chair, Casa Bonita, Wooten Antieks, Ambella Home, and Uttermost, as well as custom creations by Baude and Long. The shop also offers a variety of design services, including consultations, staging, and holiday decorating. The grand opening celebration is scheduled for the weekend of September 19–21.
