Easy Being Green

From eco-friendly mattresses to recycled-glass dishes, Moss Envy is all about loving Mother Earth in style

The third time’s the charm. Eco-retailers Ryan and Tina North have opened Moss Envy, their third concept, and it’s sophisticated and fresh. The Excelsior Boulevard shop replaces the Uptown boutique, Twin Cities Green, which replaced Re Gifts.

It’s a natural (pardon the pun) but big step forward. The shop, mapped out by HGTV eco-designer Joshua Foss, has a modern feel. The staple lifestyle goods and the friendly, knowledgeable—but never preachy—attitude that made them an eco-shopping destination haven’t disappeared.

Don’t-miss add-ons include everything from adorable crib bedding to yoga mats. The jewelry, cosmetics, vintage furniture, and clothing are new and worth a peek too.

You can learn why your purchase is Earth-friendly by package code: recycled, fair trade, Minnesota-made, vintage, sustainable, and more. The Norths are making going green look really, really good.
