Who: Jordan Rossman

Intern at Fallon Worldwide advertising agency.

The Story: Jordan has just finished her college career and is interning at a prestigious ad agency, so she’s building a professional wardrobe that fits her petite frame and feels age-appropriate.

Style Inspiration: “My style icons would be Jennifer Aniston and Lauren Conrad,” Jordan says. “I love Jennifer’s professional yet trendy style, and Lauren keeps a young feel to  her looks. Both always look classy, sexy, and sharp.”

Our Stylist’s Take: “With this makeover, my object was to take simple blazers, skirts, and blouses and give them new life. I wanted to take business day looks that could be easily transformed into cocktail hour. This look is definitely business chic meets lady about town.”

Word to the Wise: Belts are key for day-to-evening looks. Change up the look by simply removing the blazer and rebelting over the layers underneath. Placing the belt at the waist makes her legs look a mile long. Taking a risk on accessories is an easy way to look for fashion-forward in the workplace.

A chignon signals business, and when placed to the side, it’s right on trend.

The complementary light-blue and melon-orange pairing feels fresh and enhances Jordan’s eyes and hair.

Pencil skirts are a business wardrobe staple and flatter Jordan’s  figure. The copper color adds punch.

Leopard print stacked-heel shoes add a youthful vibe.
