Heyday

Two Minneapolis restaurant vets have joined forces to open a spot that they hope will become their own personal heyday in a 100-year-old Lyn-Lake building. Frontman Lorin Zinter and chef Jim Christiansen roll out an eclectic spring menu with dishes such as this crispy lamb belly with sugar-snap peas, mint, and ginger. The playful décor—a chandelier crafted from utensils and huge pop-art paintings—brings a modern-but-comfortable vibe.
