Meet Post- (pronounced “post-dash”), handbags with an art-history pedigree. Designed by art historians Lois Munemitsu Eliason and Katie McShane, and made in Minnesota, the duo’s latest launch is based on their study of post-industrial revolution—hence all the rivets. But it’s also based on the adaptable culture of the 21st century. You can take this bag anywhere. Post- bags are handmade in Minnesota with tough-yet-satiny 500-denier Cordura nylon and thick Italian leather. Durable materials make them useful, great design makes them sexy. And you don’t need an art degree to see that.
