Benefit for Second Chance Animal Rescue. A nonprofit, all-volunteer animal rescue organization is holding an Animal Adoption Day with a variety of cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies available for adoption. 11/15  2007 Kettle Kick-off
Benefit for The Salvation Army’s faith-based human services, organized by The Salvation Army. The Salvation Army’s Christmas Campaign celebration features the lighting of the giant red kettle, food, and prizes. An all day bell-ringing marathon leads up to the kick-off. The Salvation Army serves 1,200 hot meals each day, houses more than 800 people each night, and is the largest provider of Christmas toys in the metro. Benefit for hospice services, grief camp for kids, organized by Fairview Lakes Health Services.
