Cinderella Stories

Our two Cinderella contest winners got the royal treatment at our monthly makeover shoot.

When JoAnne Spada won a chance to be our makeover candidate, a walk-on role in the Ordway’s production of Cinderella, and gift certificates to Schuler Shoes, she brought her friend Diane Abeln along for the ride. These two love Old Hollywood glamour and were right at home putting on the latest styles from Monique Lhuillier (we hear a rumor that some had been asked for by celebrity stylists for the Golden Globes). Their beauty and confidence made them inspiring to shoot—it was hard to pick just one shot for the magazine. Luckily, we can show you the gorgeous alternate shots here.

Thank you so much for the wonderful experience that you gave to me to participate in the "Cinderella " make-over. Truly a once in a lifetime experience.

Everyone connected with the Minnesota Monthly were a joy to be around. Diane and I will truly enjoy the memories that you gave to us for this experience.

Sincerely,

JoAnne Spada

P.S.

Is there a chance we could get pictures of us in the four dresses, please.
