Aveda launches a hairspray with zero impact on the Earth’s climate
Let’s face it: Nothing seems eco-friendly when it comes to hairspray. But Aveda’s attempting to make it so this summer with Control Force hairspray. First, Aveda’s renewable-energy funding nixes negative impact on our climate. The can is recyclable. Instead of pesky propylene glycol, you’ll find the corn-derived propanediol in its place. Oryzanol, derived from rice bran, protects hair from UV rays. But, thankfully, some things never change. Expect that familiar herbal scent: a mix of lavender, bergamot, palmarosa, vetiver, and Bulgarian rose.
