Such talents are not needed at June, a new resale shop in south Minneapolis. Housed in a former interior-design studio, June has a pared-down sophistication. Hardwood floors gleam under vintage rugs, books about Vogue and Coco Chanel rest on plush ottomans, and velvet drapes conceal spacious dressing rooms. Owner Daune Stinson buys designer goods outright from local fashionistas and stylists. Some items are gently used, others have the tags still attached. At June, she resells almost everything, including shoes, clothes, handbags, and accessories, for about a third of its original price. Stinson updates her website regularly with featured items, but savvy shoppers looking for one-of-a-kind finds should stop in often.
