C'est Chic

Pretend you’re strolling the Ile Saint-Louis while browsing North Loop’s latest addition

We have the French to thank for a few fabulous C’s: Camembert, champagne, Coco Chanel, couture…. But could we use a little more French style in our lives? Mais oui!

Mother-and-daughter-in-law team Pam Pappas Stanoch and Audrey d’Assignies are happy to help. They’ve stocked their space with French fashion and fun accessories—many of the offerings from designer Eva Tralala, whose pieces are classically tailored, but embellished with surprising details.

But C’est Chic is not limited by the confines of its French borders. It carries Polish dresses designed by Art-Slava and, for summer, Italian gingham sundresses and bikinis. It’s doubly exclusive: You won’t find this stuff anywhere else in the Twin Cities, and they order only one size run, so you won’t bump into your twin at a party.

Not sure how to pull off the Euro styles? Don’t fret, my pets. C’est Chic has styling classes—try it all on and find what works for you. C’est la vie!
