Event: Duets: An Evening of Perfect Pairings was held Saturday, January 19, at Aria in downtown Minneapolis.
Cause: Money raised goes toward the efforts of the Junior League of Minneapolis. JLM is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities.
Top Chefs: Some 300 guests filled Aria’s warehouse-chic space to nosh on food-and-drink pairings put together by chefs from such restaurants as Barrio, Dakota Jazz Club, Luci Ancora, and Oceanaire. A total of 11 local restaurants participated.
Going Once, Going Twice: The evening featured both a live and silent auction. The item that won the highest bid was the Minnesota Twins “First Pitch” package.
