Breast Party in Town

The Breast Cancer Awareness Association gathered guests in support of women who battle the disease

Event: For the ninth consecutive year, the Breast Cancer Awareness Association’s Breast Party in Town returned on March 3 at the Metropolitan Ballroom in Golden Valley.

Double Threat: Physicians by day, musicians by night, the members of the Remnants continued their fight to find a cure for breast cancer by taking the stage and keeping guests rocking the whole night.

Bidding Wars: While feasting on tasty morsels from D’Amico Catering, guests bid on Twins tickets and wine baskets.

See and Be Seen: Rusty Gatenby from KSTP emceed the event and Pat Smith of the Minnesota Swarm was among the more than 300 guests and breast-cancer survivors in attendance. The event raised close to $30,000, all of which will go toward the Breast Cancer Awareness Association’s efforts to find a cure for the disease.
