Event: The 24th annual Make Them Shine fundraiser for the St. David’s Center for Child and Family Development was held Saturday, March 9, at International Market Square in Minneapolis.
Cause: Nearly $270,000 was raised to help fund critical services to the 2,300 children and families who rely on the St. David’s Center for early-childhood education, early intervention, and life-phase services.
Who’s Who: Senators Terri Bonoff and Matt Schmit, and State Representative John Benson were among the 500 guests in attendance. KARE 11 news anchor Tim McNiff was the emcee for the night.
High-Speed Art: Tim Decker, a nationally recognized speed painter, created two portraits, Albert Einstein and the Statue of Liberty, which sold for a total of $4,750 during the live auction.
