It’s a good thing Stacey Finnegan doesn’t believe in ghosts. The owner of MINQ boutique in St. Louis Park’s West End shopping district has opened a second location at 50th & France, Edina’s boutique mecca, but it’s not exactly a new adventure. She set up shop there once already in 2006 under the name il Vostro. After she closed that boutique’s doors in 2010 to focus on her consulting business, another proprietor came and went. When the 1,200-square-foot space opened up again last year, she jumped on the opportunity, recasting the former Old World European feel for a vibe as contemporary as MINQ itself. Lady shoppers can choose from soft 525 America sweaters with cheeky designs and locally made Helen Wang jewelry, while hip gentlemen shop classics such as J Brand premium denim. “We’re a fashion playground,” says Finnegan of her stores. “Don’t take yourself too seriously.”
