The 23rd annual Polo Classic uses sport to support equine education

Playing Polo for Ponies

What: The Polo Classic was held Sunday, August 12, at the Twin Cities Polo Club in Maple Plain.

Cause: More than 1,000 people came to cheer on polo players while raising $65,000 for the University of Minnesota’s Leatherdale Equine Center, a program dedicated to advancing the health and performance of horses.

Fast and Furious: There was also a car show, featuring Jaguar, Rolls Royce, Mercedes Benz, and Porsche models.
