2010 Tangletown Garden and Art Tour
This annual event showcases local gardens, artists and galleries
Event: 2010 Garden and Art Tour, held July 24
Cause: Proceeds from the tickets help fund public art, charities, and garden projects throughout the Twin Cities. Current projects include a multi-phase development at Thomas Lowry Park and an infusion of plants at Peavey Plaza in Minneapolis.
See and be Seen: More than 1,500 guests came out to gaze at eight featured private gardens in St. Paul along Minnehaha Parkway and in the Crocus Hill neighborhood.
Wining and Dining: Wine samples were provided by Solo Vino wine shop. Food was provided by Corner Table, including artisan pizzas and sweetcorn ice cream made with produce from Tangletown Gardens’s farm.
Song and Dance: Tambuca provided “house music with a Latin edge” with their band of deejays and live musicians.
