Blowdry brings sexy back to the shampoo set

You may have turned your nose up at Grandma’s weekly “shampoo set” and her plastic bonnets, but the concept has a hip take: the blowdry bar.

Blowdry was the first of the trendy of blowdry-only salons to open here, and is owned by preternaturally talented Charlie Brackney and Jessica Reipke, of Haus Salon.

Step into the jewelbox space and belly up to the “bar.” Enjoy a scalp and shoulder massage, then a long wash, followed by styling—choose from several options, including a Veronica Lake boudoir to “the boho,” a polished wave.

Add-ons include makeup and lashes, waxing, and up-dos. Package deals save cash.

Extend the life of your new ’do with their umbrellas, silk pillow-cases, styling tools, and product.

Blowouts are only $35, no matter how long or unruly your locks. You’ll never want to wash your own hair again.
