The Porter family has always loved movie nights, but not necessarily because of their love for movies. For this family of six, there was always one main event: popcorn. And not your average run-of-the-mill microwave popcorn. The Porters love experimenting with strange and interesting additions to the salty snack, including savory flavors and stovetop caramel and candied corn. Soon, their recipes simply became too good not to share. Parents Danielle and Stephen, along with their four children, decided to take on the venture of opening their own storefront that highlighted their passion for family time and, of course, delicious popcorn! Remix Popcorn & Delights first opened its doors to St. Paul in November 2019, named and branded to honor the family’s love for music, another of their many shared passions. They continue their movie night tradition by remixing and creating something new for their customers to remember and enjoy. Remix has over 50 different flavors of popcorn, handmade fudge, freshly spun cotton candy, custom cookies by order, gifts and a large selection of candies both new and nostalgic.
