The Blue Plate Company makes a habit of reading a neighborhood and styling a new restaurant to fit its needs. The latest entry into their cadre of eateries, the Mercury Dining Room and Rail, is a neighborhood hang that adds a much-needed breakfast option for downtown Minneapolis workers and apartment dwellers. Not much has changed in the room itself from the previous tenant, Brasserie Zentral, but fresh upholstery and brighter colors open things up a bit.
