TC 5K RUN/WALK

The 5K course starts and ends on John Ireland Boulevard, near the State Capitol. This out-and-back course takes you up historic Summit Avenue and ends at the marathon finish line, located near the intersection of John Ireland Boulevard and 12th Street.

The Mile starts and ends on John Ireland Boulevard, near the State Capitol. The race follows the 5K course for 1/2 mile and returns to finish at the 5K/Marathon finish line.

DIAPER DASH

Participants in the Diaper Dash crawl from an inner circle to an outer circle. This event is for the little ones requiring the assistance of their hands and knees! It takes place on the lawn of the State Capitol Grounds near the intersection of John Ireland Boulevard and Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
HARRY & SHELLY’S MASCOT INVITATIONAL

Kids of all ages will love Harry & Shelly’s Mascot Invitational! Don’t miss this event featuring your favorite mascots running in a race all their own. TODDLER TROT

BUCA DI BEPPO PASTA PARTY

Buca di Beppo invites you to the marathon’s traditional pasta party to celebrate with family and friends while fueling up before the race. Tickets are $10 through September 8 or $12 after (age 10 and under are FREE). Prepaid tickets will be held at the door.

9TH ANNUAL MEDTRONIC TC 10 MILE
Sunday, Oct 7, 7:10 a.m.
The Medtronic TC 10 Mile, organized by Twin Cities Marathon, Inc, will serve as the 2007 USA Men’s 10 Mile Championship. Top distance runners from around the country will be competing for the $25,000 prize purse, as well as preparing for the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials. The “Shortcut to the Capitol®” race starts near the HHH Metrodome and shares the last seven miles of the marathon course, finishing at the State Capitol. The race is limited to 5,500 runners and entry is done by lottery.
26TH ANNUAL MEDTRONIC TWIN CITIES MARATHON
Sunday, Oct 7, 8:00 a.m.
Known as the “Most Beautiful Urban Marathon in America®”, the 26.2 mile course begins near the HHH Metrodome in Minneapolis and finishes at the State Capitol on John Ireland Boulevard in St. Paul. More than 5,000 volunteers and 300,000 spectators make the marathon a thrill to experience for 10,500 participants.
27TH MILE
Presented by Seagate Technology Sunday, Oct 7, 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
The 27th Mile is located beyond the Secured Finish Area, along Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard on the State Capitol Grounds in St. Paul. Activities include massage, event merchandise, family meeting area, medal engraving, and the Post-Race Party Tent. Open to the public with lots of free food, music, and fun!

The awards ceremony will be held outside the elite runner tent and will be broadcast on LCD screens in the 27th mile of the finish area.
