Friday, October 15, 2010: A memorable evening of fine wines, fabulous food provided by D’Amico’s, and exciting live and silent auctions. This year’s tasting was again generously coordinated by Haskell’s.
Event: Sixth Annual Harvesting Hope Wine Tasting, October 15
Cause: The Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery, which prevents child abuse and neglect, while supporting parents in times of crisis.
See and be Seen: More than 550 community members and oenophiles attended the event at the Metropolitan Ballroom in Golden Valley. The evening included tastings of more than 100 fine wines, and live and silent auctions including—what else?—wine.
Wining and Dining: Haskell’s coordinated the Grand Tasting, which was presented by 37 different vintners. D’Amico providing the food pairings.
