We are excited to announce that our third annual Minnesota Monthly Local Chef Challenge will be held on March 26 & 27 at Mall of America. Not only have we changed venues, but we have also increased the grand prize. This will be a weekend-long elimination contest, where one local chef will walk away with $10,000 cash.
Your commitment would be two to three hours on Saturday for the first round. If you win your bracket, you will then advance to the semi-final on Sunday, March 27th. Due to time constraints and kitchen availability, we have a limited number of spots available. We will be accepting seven chefs. Chef Jack Riebel of the Dakota Jazz Club and Restaurant will be back to defend his title.
Each participating chef will be featured in the March issue of Minnesota Monthly, on MinnesotaMonthly.com, and may receive additional press exposure. If you are interested in participating, please feel out the form below. Applications must be received by Thursday, January 20th at noon. The seven chefs will be selected by random drawing.
