Event: The 15th annual Big Brothers Big Sisters Gala, held Saturday, May 18, at the Marriott City Center in Minneapolis.
Cause: Money raised at the event supports the Twin Cities branch of Big Brothers Big Sisters. The volunteer-supported program provides children facing adversity with adult mentors in order to help them thrive in their schools, communities, and society.
Who’s Who: The guest list included KARE 11 meteorologist Belinda Jensen, KSTP sports anchor Joe Schmit, and former Baltimore Ravens coach/current Fox Sports analyst Brian Billick.
Groovy: The theme of the gala was Motown Magic, and the Steele family singers (J.D., Fred, Jearlyn, Jevetta, Billy) provided smooth tunes to match the atmosphere.
