Midwest Home magazine is thrilled to announce Alexa Hampton as the keynote speaker to kickoff the Third Annual Design Week, a weeklong event taking place April 12 – 18 for consumers and professionals in the interior design and architecture industries to connect and celebrate design across the Twin Cities.
Alexa, an acclaimed interior designer, author, TV personality, and furniture designer, is the owner and design leader of Mark Hampton, LLC. In addition to her impressive portfolio of domestic and international design projects, Alexa’s expansive résumé includes positions on the boards of trustees for the New York School of Interiors Design, the New York Landmarks Conservancy, and the Institute for Classical Architecture. Hampton also helped launched Gilt Group’s Gilt Home Design Boutiques and is a cast member of “This Old House” and PBS’ “Find.” Alexa is also the author of two critically acclaimed design books and is a contributing columnist for the Wall Street Journal.
Alexa will give her keynote speech April 12, 2015 at Design Week’s kick-off event, Design Boutique at Minneapolis Central Library. Design Boutique is an exciting soiree that will include a keynote luncheon, design seminars led by industry professionals, a cocktail hour, and more!
