Nearly 450 supporters celebrated 100 years of the American Cancer Society saving lives and creating more birthdays on October 5th at the Inaugural Legacy Ball. The evening honored Twin Cities foodie icon and Minnesota Monthly columnist, Sue Zelickson with the Spirit of Hope Award recognizing her decades of volunteer leadership for the Society.
Sponsors and guests helped raise nearly $300,000 to support the programs and services of the American Cancer Society including The Richard M. Schulze Family American Cancer Society Hope Lodge serving cancer patients and caregivers here in the Twin Cities receiving medical treatments.
