We’re approaching the first weekend of August, and that means it’s art fair season. Spend your lazy afternoons from Friday, August 6 through Sunday, August 8 strolling through a myriad of stalls containing the best painting, ceramics, photography, and woodcarving the art world has to offer during the Uptown, Powderhorn, and Loring Park art fairs.
From giant, welded sculptures for the lawn to fused glass platters for a dining room centerpiece, the opportunities to bring something new into your home are endless. When you’re done shopping, stop and listen to live music, visit the outdoor wine garden in Uptown, or dip a toe in Powderhorn Lake. For your convenience, each fair is connected free of charge, thanks to the Metro Transit Art Hop.
