Good news for Minneapolis—the reopening of the American Swedish Institute was this past Saturday! After six months of renovations, the Turnblad Mansion is back in action just in time for the November 19th Christmas Fair.
The ASI celebration promises holiday finery in the traditional styles of the Nordic countries, as well as live music and dance, arts and crafts projects for families, and tours of the newly redesigned lower level and gift shop.

10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Museum Admission: $6; $5 ages 62 & up; $4 ages 6-18 and students with ID; free for children under 6
A Nordic Christmas exhibit runs November 12th, 2011 through January 8th, 2012, and is open during regular museum hours.
