Auxilary Spring Plant Sale

The Arboretum’s annual plant sale has everything you need to make your garden great

Here in Minnesota, we know better than to depend on the calendar to tell us when spring has sprung. Instead, we wait patiently for winter to ebb and warmer weather to pack its bags and finally head back north. And with today’s high in the 80s, it appears our patience has finally paid off—spring has arrived and so has the University of Minnesota’s annual auxiliary spring plant sale.

The largest plant sale in the state, this two-day flora festival has everything you need to make your garden great. There are perennials for sun or shade, shrubs, trees, vines, herbs, vegetables, rock garden plants, tropical water plants, decorations, tools—even koi fish! Take advantage of today’s stupendous weather and prepare your yard for some new arrivals, then head to the Arboretum this weekend and stock up on the best spring has to offer.
