Cookies & Cocktails

Welcome to Celebrate Community! It’s my new online column dedicated to the great work being done in our community. Each month you’ll hear about upcoming charity events, why you should support them, and then a re-cap and photos from a few I’ve attended. Now, let’s take a look at a couple events that happened last month:

Urban Cocktail Party Keep Your Eye on the Ball

November 6th, 2010 – Target Field

Why: The fourth annual Urban Cocktail Party has been held at a different venue each year to raise funds for the Phillips Eye Institute Foundation. This year’s event was at Target Field on the second level, which lends itself to great food booths where chefs were carving turkey and beef, making sushi, and serving other delicious foods plus signature drinks.
