Dear Expert: In your opinion, what is one of the biggest design trends today?
A: The biggest “trend” I see in interior design is a move away from what is trendy. People want designs that are timeless. Our clients are making choices they know they’ll be happy with for a long time, but this doesn’t mean they’re choosing options that are safe or boring. It means they want the bones of the design to last so they can change it up with different colors and fabrics, or swap out certain details for an updated look.
