Since last night’s opening party at The Container Store in Edina was strictly a schmoozing/nibbling/toasting event, I couldn’t buy any of the cool organizing wares I discovered. But I’ll be back to the new store this weekend for my drawer organizers, lingerie-drying rack, hanging baskets, and much more, I’m sure. The stuff is decidedly unsexy, but undeniably handy. Bonus: during the official grand opening this weekend, The Container Store will donate 10 percent of all sales at the Edina location to the Children’s Cancer Research Fund. While you’re there, mosey across the parking lot for a look around West Elm, the other new addition to Edina’s Furniture Row. Both stores are on France Avenue, just south of the Galleria.
