Trained architect Angie Davis of Minneapolis has gotten into craftista mode of late, and I’m absolutely loving her new pieces, sold on etsy. First on my list are her creamy wool sofa pillows adorned with the stitched forms of Le Corbusier, Eames, and Nelson classics. Davis uses a sublime virgin Persian yarn to create the designs, purchased from Needlework Unlimited, right in Linden Hills. Another fave: linen cup cozies that proclaim their own hotness. A set of three or four of these would make an adorable hostess gift, especially when paired with a bag of local Peace Coffee.
