For those of you not familiar with Etsy, the ground-up website hosting all things handmade: my goodness, where have you been? The site is an absolute gold mine of fabulous, chic, graphic, and lovely housewares (and jewelry, and art…), mixed in with a whole bunch of things that very much belong in a dirt-mall craft fair. In fact, the sheer enormity of Etsy makes it somewhat overwhelming for the casual browser. Which is why, starting today, I’m starting a new blog series to highlight the very best Etsy things for the home—and all of them come from our fair state of Minnesota.
My first pick is Keith Moore‘s yummy clocks, which we featured back in September. Made with laminate on engineered wood, the clocks are an extension of Moore’s modernist (and very eco) furniture collection, designed under the label Pilot Design. Right now, I’m loving the silvery “Splat” design which would look amazing placed on top of some Cole & Son wallpaper, or the “Plus” walnut and maple design with the cool streak of apple green enamel, for a true retro vibe.
