With a last name like Bachman, Susie Bachman was practically born with a green thumb! But it’s her passion for gardening and her pursuit of horticultural knowledge that makes her our resident plant trend expert at Bachman’s. With a master’s degree in biology from Purdue and 22 years experience (full and part-time) at Bachman’s, Susie’s plant knowledge continues to grow by staying active in the industry. She’s a certified member of the Minnesota Nursery & Landscape Association and a board member of the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. As Director of Perishable Procurement at Bachman’s, Susie oversees the purchasing, merchandising and marketing of perishable product (annuals, perennials, blooming and green plants, and flowers).
