Ninth Annual Hope Chest for Breast Cancer Brunch and Fashion Show

This event supported the Hope Chest for Breast Cancer, a local nonprofit that helps women and families in need who have been affected by breast cancer. Guests mingled over mimosas and brunch from Good Earth Restaurant, then they enjoyed the Galleria’s Spring Fashion Show. The fashion show models included breast cancer survivors and was hosted by Rhonda Ruhland, Galleria style specialist, with commentary from Minnesota Monthly’s Sue Zelickson. hopechest.us

A fundraiser that featured inspiring entertainment concepts and table designs from top Twin Cities designers. Lunch was served while the guests had the chance to view an informal spring fashion show, bid on table displays, and purchase raffle tickets. Sue Zelickson (Sue Z.) is a James Beard Award-winning food media personality, philanthropist, and longtime contributor to Minnesota Monthly and WCCO radio. She has founded the Charlie Awards, the Women Who Really Cook networking organization for women in the local food industry, and the Kids Cafe at Perspectives, Inc., which improves access to nutritious meals for families in need. You can find her buzzing around from event to event throughout the Twin Cities, helping to raise funds for charitable organizations, including some she has had a hand in building.
