February 6 • National Wear Red Day

A benefit for Women’s heart research. Sponsored by the American Heart Association. Congress has  named the first Friday of every February ‘National Wear  Red Day’ to raise awareness that heart disease is the No. 1  killer of women in the United States. February 7 • Climb for a Cure
A benefit for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Sponsored by Briggs and Morgan, P.A. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is proud to  announce its 28th year of “going vertical” to  defeat Cystic Fibrosis. Climbers will have a fun-filled morning as they first climb all fifty floors (1,280 steps) of  the IDS Center and then enjoy a post-climb celebration.  7:30 a.m. IDS Center. February 7 • Have a Heart Benefit
Join us for our 9th annual Have a Heart Benefit with a camp themed twist. “S’mores Under the Stars” will bring the fun and feel of summer camp to the heart of the Twin Cities. Come prepared for a playful evening as you make a difference in the lives of our Odayin campers. Enjoy northwoods cuisine and wine, try out fishing, archery, and minnow races, hear camper stories during the program emceed by Sven Sundgaard of KARE 11, sing and dance to dynamic dueling pianos, and meet the Minnesota RollerGirls. A benefit for Goodwill/Easter Seals Minnesota.  The second annual Goodwill Bridal Showcase is an  event where brides can buy wedding gowns that are new with tags, bridal shop samples and gently used.
