A festive kick-off to the holiday season, the 26th annual Festival of Trees Holiday Gala featured dinner, dancing, and auctions set amidst a winter wonderland of designer-decorated trees and wreathes, raising funds to support the services provided by the HealthEast Foundation.
Event: The 26th annual HealthEast Foundation Festival of Trees Holiday Gala and Fashion Show at the St. Paul RiverCentre, November 19 and 20
Cause: All proceeds went toward helping improve HealthEast Care System’s patient care. This year’s gala broke previous attendance and revenue records; more than 800 guests raised $525,000.
Strut your Stuff: The fashion show on November 19 was”¯emceed”¯by KARE 11’s Belinda Jensen and featured local celebrities such as Project Runway’s Christopher Straub and former St. Paul police chief John Harrington.
Going Once, Going Twice: Along with dinner and dancing, a silent and live auction featuring designer Christmas trees and wreaths took place at the gala.
