What makes a house a home? This March, Normandale Community College and the Wind and Water School of Feng Shui join forces to co-sponsor an event that will help individuals discover the potential within their homes. Encouraging individuals to regard the home as a place that incorporates beauty, balance, creativity, collaboration, money, and meaning, Carole Hyder, M.A. (Feng Shui Expert), Margaret Lulic, M.A. (Consulting Philosopher), Michaela Mahady, A.I.A., C.I.D. (Architect), and Dr. Bill Manahan (Holistic physician) will lead a discussion aimed at understanding the home in all its dimensions. These four holistic thinkers will also explore how individuals can identify their homes as meaningful spaces, and what specific elements of the home contribute to emotional, physical, and spiritual health.
