HGTV Home Pop-Up at MOA

If you’re like me and can’t seem to pull yourself away from home remodeling, selling, and designing TV marathons; or if you’d love to take a picture with hunky Anthony Carrino and John Colaneria of Kitchen Cousins, catch up with homegrown design star Genevieve Gorger, or simply find the prospect of a life-size gingerbread house intriguing, then this pop-up shop is for you.

It’s the HGTV “Holiday House,” and basically all the home and garden television talent is coming through town this season to meet and greet, sign autographs, and of course, lend their expertise to all things home via demos.

It all started on Black Friday, but runs through New Year’s Day in Mall of America’s Rotunda.

Tomorrow (Friday), catch Chuck Nice from Home Strange Home from 2-4 p.m., Saturday, Scott McGillivray from Income Property (2-4 p.m.), and Sunday, Egypt Sherrod of Property Virgins (2-4 p.m.).

Each day there’s even more mixed in with the special appearances. On Mondays, enjoy House Hunters Bingo (6-8 p.m.), Tuesdays are all about toddler arts and crafts, Wednesdays are for the men, and most days, there’s also a holiday lights show at 1, 5, and 8 p.m. and often a complimentary gift wrapping station via a donation to the HGTV and DIY Network’s philanthropic partner, Rebuilding Together. You can also peruse the HGTV HOME pop-up showroom on level 1 south, full of all the accessories and products you covet while watching the builds on TV.

Note: Tuesday, December 4 is Bath Crashers Casting Call day (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.)! Meet Matt Muenster and make your best case for why your place needs a major lift!
