Hitchcock to the Rescue

Escape winter’s reprise tonight with Riverview Theater’s showing of Vertigo.

The movies have long provided an escape from reality, something most of us wouldn’t mind after hearing the forecast for more of the cold, snow, and wind we’ve already endured the past five months. The quintessential film to really take your mind off winter’s extended visit is a classic thriller—an epic film involving rooftop chase scenes, dangerous obsessions, desperation, and more secrets than the CIA can handle. Thanks to the Riverview Theater, you can make your temporary escape tonight with Alfred Hitchcock’s 1958 masterpiece Vertigo. Add some of Riverview’s homemade-with-real-butter popcorn to the mix, and it’s safe to say the weather will be the last thing on your mind—at least for a couple hours.

7 p.m.
Riverview Theater, 3800 42nd Ave. S., Mpls.
