Midwest Home’s Home and Garden show opened its doors this afternoon to a crowd of attendees. Many headed directly to the Designers’ Flea Market, stocked with designer goods from Gunkelman Flesher Interior Design and Room & Board—if $2,500 for an $11,000 sofa is your idea of a deal, this is the place for you. Another popular destination: The National Kitchen and Bath Association garage sale, also stocked with bargains on sinks, faucets, countertops, tile, washers, dryers, and more. The aisles are lined with more than 200 exhibitors, representing products and services ranging from windows to carpeting, landscaping to remodeling. Check it out this weekend: Minneapolis Convention Center, Friday, 1 – 6 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Sunday, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tickets are available at Cub Foods or at the door for $8 (adults, 13 and older), $3 (children, 6-12), or Free (children, 5 and under).
