10:30-11 a.m.: Teddy Bear Band Besides the fact that it’s so much fun, the Teddy Bear Band performs with a very simple goal in mind: To entertain, inspire, and support children, families, and educators.
First Floor: Enter a 20-foot-tall giant globe, the Earth Balloon, for an interactive and captivating experience “inside” our planet. Learn about the environment from the world’s perspective.
Second Floor: Noon – 2 p.m.: Minnesota Zoo Zoomobile naturalists will use live animals, biological artifacts, theater techniques, storytelling, and audience participation to create a dynamic, personal, and fun program for all ages. The goal of Zoomobile is to create and establish a sense of stewardship and respect for the diversity and complexity of all life on earth.
4 – 6 p.m.: Learn and Do!
See how much fun it is to get your hands dirty and plant native seeds.
Sunday, May 3
All Day: Representatives from the Minnesota Children’s Museum will encourage kids to discover our environment through fun, learning-focused play. Raptor education specialists from The University of Minnesota’s Raptor Center will showcase live raptors and offer hands-on props and activities.
All Day: Earth Balloon
2:30-3:30 p.m.: Splatter Sisters The Splatter Sisters sing upbeat kids’ songs involving audience participation and plenty of moving and shaking.
