The all-natural ingredients of clay, water, and fire have played an important role in civilization since the beginning of human history. Clay continues to shape our world today as a practical tool and an outlet for expressing creativity. There is no limit to the forms that are possible.

Stop by the Family Imagination Station, sponsored by Northern Clay Center, and watch as talented artists transform lumps of clay into beautiful art, then see if you have what it takes to master the rotating potter’s wheel! Receive instruction regarding basic techniques and create your own colorful pinch pot cups and mugs, vases for fresh-cut flowers, and tiles for the garden. Pick up your finished creations after August 23 at the Northern Clay Center (2424 Franklin Ave. E., Minneapolis). All ages and abilities are welcome to participate in this FREE activity.
