The Wishes & More Valentine’s Ball set sail to raise money for terminally ill children and their families
Event: Sixth Annual Wishes & More Valentine’s Ball held on February 26 at the Marriott City Center in downtown Minneapolis
Cause: Over $180,000 was raised to support Wishes & More, a children’s charity that grants the wishes of children with terminal or life-threatening conditions. They also provide college scholarships and memorials.
Tropical Escape: This year’s theme was “Cruise to Paradise.” Approximately 500 guests attended and enjoyed games, cocktails, dinner, and dancing.
Going Once, Going Twice: The highest bid of the night was $4,000 for a Labrador puppy from Our Lovable Labs, a Minnesota-based breeder.
See and Be Seen: Co-hosting the event was KSTP sports anchor Joe Schmit and the auctioneer was WCCO-Radio personality John Hines.
