Duluth Go Red For Women Luncheon

Go Red For Women is the American Heart Association’s national movement to empower women to join together to wipe out heart disease—the No. 1 killer of women. This event features inspiring speakers, educational workshops and elegant dining to raise awareness and funding for research. Love red, go red, save lives!

St. David’s Annual Fundraising Gala

Benefit for St. David’s Center for Child and Family Development. The goal is to raise $150,000 to support St. David’s programs, including: early childhood education; pediatric therapy and mental health programs; home-based services for children and young adults with special needs; and services that prevent child abuse and neglect.

Juvenile Arthritis March (JAM)

JAM is an upbeat, positive day for kids and families to raise awareness that kids get arthritis too. Individuals and teams are encouraged to participate and raise pledges to help fund the juvenile programs and services of the Arthritis Foundation North Central Chapter.

A benefit for Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention/One Bright Star. Join us for a fun night of food, live and silent auctions, and entertainment and dancing with local popular band Powerhouse. Subway Bedrace for Bridging

Presented by Cities 97 at Buck Hill, this is the 12th annual benefit for Bedrace for Bridging. Teams of four are invited to race down the tubing hill atop queen-sized mattresses. Each week, Bridging provides over 135 families with a one-time gift of quality furniture and household items to help stabilize and improve lives while effectively using community resources. Gary Vanselow Memorial Scholarship Fish Fry

An annual favorite! Delicious fish dinner, great entertainment, terrific raffle. All proceeds benefit the Gary Vanselow Memorial Scholarship for students at Lourdes High School, Rochester, Minnesota. A great evening of family fun.

Join the American Heart Association’s campaign to get American’s walking more and living longer by hosting an afternoon walk at your workplace. For every one hour of regular, brisk exercise you can gain two hours of life expectancy. Help us save lives by promoting physical activity among your coworkers.

Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes

A benefit for the American Diabetes Association. Walk inside the Miller Hill Mall in Duluth. Bring your family members, friends, and colleagues and enjoy a morning of exercise and fun while celebrating your fundraising efforts to support diabetes reasearch, information and advocacy ($100 fundraising minimum). Over 100,000 walkers in more than 180 cities Stepped Out in 2008.

Annual spring fundraising gala to benefit Spare Key. Live and silent auction. Spare Key is a 501 c(3) nonprofit whose mission is to provide assistance to Minnesota homeowners with critically ill or seriously injured children by making a mortgage payment on the family’s behalf.
