Jane Jenni, the St. Paul entrepreneur and 9-year veteran of the gift industry, is introducing six new designs to her collection at the New York International Gift Fair that kicks off this weekend. Jenni has built a cult following for her über-cute totebags, buttons, melamine plates, and ceramic mugs that sport graphic plays on idiomatic expressions and clichés, all designed by Haley Johnson Design of Minneapolis. Look for the new “Cool Cucumber,” Oh, Deer,” Squirrel Away,” “My Deer,” “Eye Candy,” and “Social Butterfly” designs at Bibelot, Patina, Quince, and the Weisman shop. Bonus points if you buy the ceramic mugs— they’re fired right in Hugo, Minnesota.
