“I knew I wanted to be a part of a place that was passionate about reaching out to the community and that embraced ‘wellness’ wholeheartedly,” says Gretchen Bliese of New Reflections. This is most certainly what she found.
Each time someone buys an Aveda candle at either location, a portion of the proceeds are donated to North Memorial’s Complimentary Care Program (CCP). Secondly, employees have volunteered their services for CCP, which was formed to “…create a more relaxing environment for individuals to receive their chemotherapy,” says Renee Meyer, purchasing director.
Speaking of its dedication to the community, stylist Amy Franklin adds, “New Reflections demonstrates a great amount of heart and soul. Not only do they care for the women going through breast cancer, but they don’t forget the caregivers whose loved ones suffer from this disease.”
Those pictured are survivors, caregivers, or volunteers affected by breast cancer. The entire team at New Reflections is committed to supporting this cause through financial support, giving of their time, and giving of themselves.
