June 16—28

The Ordway’s 2016-2017 season kicks off with an adventure set in the rough and tumble world of the 1849 California Gold Rush. Lerner & Loewe’s sweeping saga of the mythic west and the pursuit of the American dream is filled with some of the greatest songs ever written for the musical stage—They Call the Wind Maria, I Talk to the Trees, and I Was Born Under a Wand’rin Star. Tickets at ordway.org
