EVENT: The Walker Art Center and 89.3 The Current’s annual Rock the Garden was held June 21 and 22 at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden.
LINEUP: The two-day festival was packed with local and national artists, including Matt and Kim, De La Soul, Dessa, Guided by Voices, Jeremy Messersmith, and more.
FOOD & DRINK: Festival-goers kept their stamina up with noshes from Chef Shack, Butcher and the Boar, World Street Kitchen, and other local favorites. And as temperatures rose, Tap Minneapolis kept the garden-rockers hydrated with water-bottle filling stations.
UP IN THE AIR: Artists Matt and Kim kept crowd energy high on a scorching Saturday evening by tossing bright balloons and confetti into the audience.
