Event: The Taste of Stillwater was held Saturday, July 14, at Saint Croix Vineyards and Aamodt’s Apple Farm in Stillwater.
Cause: A portion of ticket sales went to Valley Outreach, a community-based nonprofit that provides food, services, and emergency financial asistance to those in need. A total of $1,000 was raised.
Drink, Dine, and Buy: 3,200 people attended the event, which featured four wines from Saint Croix Vineyards; three beers from Lift Bridge Brewery, as well as their newest concoction, Root Beer; food from Mara Mi, Culvers, and Olive on Tap; and wares from such local vendors as Miche Purseabilities, Maison Galleria, and T-Shirt Factory.
Sweet Sounds: Local musicians Alison Scott, Midnight Mo, and High & Mighty took turns performing during the festival.
